PokerStars’ Provisional Schedule Announced For SCOOP 2012
PokerStars have revealed their provisional schedule of events for this year’s Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) – although the poker room are asking for feedback and input on the planned tournaments from their players before the timetable is finalised. The initial schedule includes 38 events – with each comprising three levels of buy-in for a total of 114 tournaments – that will kick off on Sunday, May 6, for 15 days of poker action that ends with the main event on Sunday, May 20.

Party Poker Premier League V Expected to be ‘Strongest Field Ever’
Party Poker’s fifth staging of their Premier League Poker is to be included on the World Poker Tour (WPT) as a special tournament that promoters believe will attract “ the strongest field ever ” when the pros arrive in Austria in early April. Officially known as the WPT Premier League V presented by Party Poker, the event will take place at the Montesino Casino from April 4 to 10 – essentially as a warm-up to the WPT Vienna, although it will offer a $125,000 buy-in event, so can most certainly be considered a super high roller tournament for the 16-player line-up
